About the client
Children's LoveCastles (CLT) India is a non-profit organization that aims to increase access to education for children in all parts of the country. They are working to create a hub that will bring together top teachers to centralize teaching methods and align them with the national curriculum, while also adapting them to the specific needs of each state. In addition, they are using technology to replicate and distribute personalized education to ensure that every child has equal access to high-quality education at the local level.
Challenge
The client was in need of a solution to make their STEM content, which is aligned with the curriculum, easily accessible to teachers and students. They understood that many under-served communities may not have access to educational resources in their preferred language, and therefore wanted the app to be available in multiple regional languages. As a result, they requested the development of a mobile app that would meet these needs.
Solution
At Pace Wisdom, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to develop a socially-relevant application that will significantly benefit thousands of young people. We dedicated ourselves to understanding the target audience of the application, including their expectations for a mobile app like this, and carefully designed and implemented a plan for timelines, testing, and delivery. The result was a successful project that we are proud to have been a part of.
Our team developed two mobile applications to enhance the learning experience for both students and teachers. The student app is designed to provide students with access to a wide range of educational materials and resources, including lesson plans, textbooks, and videos on various subjects from grades 5 to 10. These materials are available in the students' regional languages and follow the NCERT curriculum. In addition to accessing these resources, students can also take assessments through the app to track their progress and identify areas for improvement. The teacher app, on the other hand, is geared towards helping educators plan and deliver effective lessons, with features such as teaching points, discussion points, and cognitive ability sections to engage and challenge their students. It also includes a repository of STEM teaching resources and helps teachers plan Continuous Comprehensive Examinations for their students. Both apps provide access to educational content in multiple regional languages, making them accessible to a diverse range of learners.
Technology used
The mobile app has been created for the Android operating system with the integration of a payment gateway for transactions.
