CANSO to launch new Airspace Asia Pacific event

New CANSO event will launch in Hong Kong next year

The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation is to launch an exhibition in Asia Pacific dedicated to airspace and unmanned traffic management, with the first event planned for December next year.

Airspace Asia Pacific is set to take place at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, China, from 9 to 11 December 2025. The inaugural event will bring together senior leaders in the air traffic management (ATM) and unmanned traffic management UTM industries to foster innovation and collaboration.

Simon Hocquard, director general of Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) said, "We are thrilled to launch Airspace Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. This event represents our commitment to fostering a stronger ATM and UTM community in the Asia Pacific region by leveraging digitalisation, virtualisation, and other cutting-edge technologies."

Victor Liu, director general of civil aviation at the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department said, "Hong Kong is a major international aviation centre. With our world-class conference and exhibition facilities, as well as renowned hospitality, I am sure the event will be successfully held in our vibrant city. We are honoured to welcome the inaugural Airspace Asia Pacific to Hong Kong, China in 2025.”
