The first courses aimed at Air Navigation Service Providers have been launched by CANSO in partnership with Infina on their new training website.
The partnership between the trade association and training and software company was first announced during the Airspace World event earlier this year. It will see CANSO and Infina deliver cost-effective technical and management micro-learning and mixed media courses, virtually to the global aviation community.
The courses available on the ALP website cover Air Traffic Management-related topics, including human factors, emergencies, and voluntary reporting, while an ATCO Technical Series currently offers a Pilot’s Point of View on the issues of turbulence and birds activity.
The courses are available to ANSPs and their employees via an annual membership subscription which gives full access to all the microlearning courses via a unique key name. Quarterly launches of new courses are scheduled for deployment to add to the ever-growing current catalogue of courses.

Our media content library offers key air navigation topics that meet ICAO and industry standards to the benefit of CANSO member countries and stakeholders across the globe.”
Courses can be accessed through a number of platforms, mobile devices and desktop computers, and used in different study formats. They have been developed using safety data and with the support of experienced aviation safety and air navigation experts, who share their experiences and lessons learned throughout each course.
